On the occasion of Pitti 106 Il Bisonte presents its new products for Spring-Summer 2025 dedicated to men and women. Continuing with the tradition that has always characterized the brand, the new collection of fine leather bags and accessories is the result of responsible design based on durable and sustainable raw materials as well as a timeless aesthetic that is unfettered by the demands of seasonal trends.
Made to last a lifetime while keeping their beauty and uniqueness intact, all of Il Bisonte’s products are made exclusively in Tuscany where they are crafted – as they always have been – by master artisans who safeguard the most authentic local manufacturing traditions. The names chosen for the new women’s lines (Elisa and Anna) and the men’s line (Jacopo) are a tribute to Tuscany given that they are all inspired by the walled city gates of Lucca, where the photo campaign to launch the SS25 Collection was shot.
New products for men
Essential, lightweight, and ideal for both work and leisure, the Jacopo men’s line includes a travel bag, tote, backpack and beauty case, all made from the new Eco Tie Dye canvas, featuring its characteristic structured weave and pre-used look, perfectly trimmed with vintage vegetable-tanned leather handles and piping.
New products for women
The Elisa and Anna lines for women offer an extraordinary sensory experience thanks to the quality and uniqueness of Il Bisonte’s iconic vegetable-tanned leather, which comes in smooth, classic and vintage textures.
The Elisa line includes a shoulder bag, a tote, and a bucket bag which all feature a wrap-around strap. In contrast, the unmistakable soft flap characterizes the Anna line which includes a shoulder bag, crossbody, card case and wallets. In addition to more classic colors, the Elisa and Anna lines come in new shades called Graphite and Polynesia, which are inspired by the naturalness of stone and the intensity of tropical vegetation.
The new classics
On the occasion of Pitti 106 Il Bisonte also presents new classics that complement and enrich the most beloved collections from past seasons. New items in Il Bisonte’s iconic vegetable-tanned leather include a tote bag, messenger and small leather goods from the Galileo men’s line; new women’s bags from Consuelo (now also available in a tote version), Snodo (also featuring shoulder and crossbody versions), Le Laudi (with a new handbag) and Roseto (shoulder bag and saddle bag).
New products for the home
On the occasion of Pitti 106 Il Bisonte also presents its new capsule collection There’s A Home For Everything: The Keepsake Box, created by New York-based designer Shawn Henderson, who has been a favorite of international architecture magazines for years and was recently included in Architectural Digest’s 2024 AD100 and Elle Decor’s A List.
Inspired by Bauhaus’s symbiosis of beauty and utility, The Keepsake Box is a sophisticated, harmonious combination of different-sized leather boxes that was born out of a desire to create a truly special place for the objects we hold most dear.
100% made in Tuscany, all parts are handcrafted using wooden frames covered in vegetable-tanned leather, and are available in natural, navy blue and black.
Sustainable by tradition
Il Bisonte was born in the historic center of Florence 55 years ago, and like its very first creations, all bags and small leather goods in the SS25 Collection are produced exclusively in the artisanal workshops that make up the brand’s supply chain which is concentrated within a 30-kilometer area around Florence. The leather hasn’t changed either; it has always been vegetable tanned in the Santa Croce sull’Arno district, according to a millennia-old recipe that employs tannin powder extracted from trees to replace chromium and other substances that are harmful to humans and the planet. It is an ethical choice practiced for over half a century that has resulted in its own unmistakable aesthetic, one that will allow the leather items featured in the SS25 Collection to famously stand the test of time while changing every day with the wearer. All thanks to the alchemy of tannin and sunlight and one’s very personal interaction with the leather.
