  4. THE SPEECH
A chronicle of Il Bisonte’s second party celebrated in Orti Dipinti. Community, superior craftsmanship, sustainability.

«I just wanted to say: thank you», Giacomo says from the stage, microphone in hand, standing firmly but with a wide smile that might betray just a bit of embarrassment. «Thanks to Il Bisonte for continuing to support this project.»
Let’s recap. First name: Giacomo. Last name: Salizzoni. Born in 1975. His eyes are full of charm. Practical in video making and green design. Bolognese accent, in love with Florence. It was here, exactly ten years ago, that he obtained permission to plant an urban garden on the abandoned athletics track in Borgo Pinti. He is the father of Orti Dipinti.

THE SECOND GARDEN PARTY

So, thank you, Giacomo. Thank you for the hospitality. Exactly one year ago, Il Bisonte threw its first party in the Orti. On June 13, we celebrated again, presenting Florence with the Spring-Summer 2024 collection.
Giacomo is speaking from the stage set up under a tree, where by popular demand, the band is readying to play the last songs. Great rock classics. That express values such as freedom of experience, and responsibility towards the present. Values that distinguish the brand.

COMMUNITY, SUPERIOR CRAFTSMANSHIP, SUSTAINABILITY

Everyone was dancing under the stage. The Borgo Pinti community was dancing. The press was dancing, and rushing to photograph guests and interview particularly prominent ones. In fact, the protagonists of Florentine fashion were dancing away in front of the future collection of bags and talking about them, transforming the Orti that evening into our second headquarters.
To all of you who danced, we extend a heartfelt thank you. On the one hand, Il Bisonte’s financial support for Orti Dipinti has been renewed. On the other, the brand continues to find unique, sustainable inspiration among Giacomo’s myriad plants.
