Marina Abramović – The cleaner (2018 – 2019)
“Marina” is the bag designed by Wanny Di Filippo to celebrate one of the most famous and controversial figures in contemporary art. The exhibition “Marina Abramović – The cleaner” (Septermber 2018 – January 2019) is a unique retrospective bringing together a hundred videos, photographs, paintings, objects and installations that explain the 40-years carrier of an extraordinary artist whose works have revolutionized the idea of performance, testing body expressive potential to the limit.
The shoulder bag is made of black shiny cowhide with gold and red trim. On one side stands the name of the “priestess of Body Art”, on the other applications of golden leather, inspired by the iconography of the exhibition featuring the face of the artist covered with gold leaf.
