  4. FALL WINTER 2019/20 NEW COLLECTION

Unexpected colors, re-interpreted materials and many novelties especially for men: the Il Bisonte Fall/Winter collection tells a story of loyalty to craftsmanship and the ability to describe it with renewed originality.

The vegetable-tanned cowhide, which is the brand’s iconic material, comes out in new colors: frothy yellow, periwinkle blue and barley are inspired by Autumn, the sky and the Tuscan countryside; chocolate brown gives new consistency to the vintage cowhide leather used to reinterpret the brand’s great classics.

Il Bisonte’s logo plays a leading role in the collection by being incorporated into the weave of a new jacquard fabric or on classic cowhide finished with suede inlay.

There’s also something new for Il Bisonte icons: the disco, baguette and crescent crossbody bags and “Selleria” shopping bags are offered up in elegant and stylish cow fur.

In order to be classy as well as functional, the new small and medium-sized shoulder bags are embellished with metallic accessories, and the roomy unisex shopping bags feature open or zippered compartments.

A new line with a decidedly urban flavor significantly enriches Il Bisonte’s selection for men. It includes a backpack and briefcases of various sizes that come in vintage cowhide or poly-cotton, and new travel styles (duffel bags, hip packs and messenger bags) made of durable and waterproof poly-cotton.  Still catering to men is Fabio Attanasio’s elegantly sporty touch. The first fruits of his collaboration with Il Bisonte are a briefcase, backpack and laptop case made of vintage cowhide and canvas.

As for the materials (all strictly made in Italy), in addition to cowhide, the new collection includes suede, cow fur, velvet, a new super-resistant jacquard fabric, as well as Casentino cloth, a timeless, unique wool that has been produced for centuries only in Tuscany.
