Rather than men living among trees, let us ask ourselves how trees live among men. Symbiosia, the installation by artist Thijs Biersteker, and pioneer of plant neuro-biology Stefano Mancuso, raised a voice from the depths of the Cartier Foundation garden, en plein Paris.
‘Noi gli Alberi’ (We the Trees) is the title of the great exhibition that, until last January, focused the urban gaze on our earthly cohabitants. It is part of an ongoing revolution, driven by plants and happening through science, art and crafts. From his Florence study center, Mancuso works on this revolution taking place between digital and vegetal.
