To celebrate its first 50 years, Il Bisonte has given its birthplace city an arboreal installation consisting of 50 6-meter-high oak trees, which when seen from above, trace the contours of the brand’s iconic star logo.
The new forest stretches 180 meters and is located on the outskirts of Florence, right in the center of a new public park. The neighborhood’s recent urban redevelopment hosts University buildings, the Palace of Justice, as well as new residents, offering them a beautiful shady area to meet.
The installation was conceived by Felice Limosani with landscape supervision provided by CNR researcher Alberto Giuntoli and scientific consulting by Professor Stefano Mancuso. It was ideated as an investment in the city’s future, as a valuable legacy for future generations and as a tangible sign of the values and regard for environmental sustainability and social responsibility that have always been part of Il Bisonte’s DNA.
