Located at the center of Lorenzo the Magnificent’s lands, Borgo San Lorenzo has always been a lively crossroads of merchandise, knowledge and flavors amid gorgeous countryside dotted with ancient churches and magnificent villas.
Pelago is a small village nestled between the Arno and Sieve rivers, among the hills and Apennine mountains, 25 km from Florence. Since Roman times its countryside has been famous for producing oil and excellent wines, the most well-known being the Nipozzano of the Frescobaldi family.
In its enchanted countryside cultivated by the Etruscans since the ninth century BC, a wine is produced that is very similar to Il Bisonte bags: it improves over time, changing its color from ruby to garnet and softening in taste.
Il Bisonte’s creative center is located here, as well as the modeling department, the brand’s archives, sample production, a workshop to restore used bags and accessories, warehouses, and the retail and administrative offices.
