Lungarno Corsini, Palazzo Corsini. Music and lights in the windows. A spiral staircase opens to the Il Bisonte party. First we meet Giacomo from Orti Dipinti. We take in Florence coursing down below. He tells us, “It’s a feeling of gratitude.”
“5” “0” (years plus since the brand was born) announce the two tables arranged in the hall, which has become a dance floor. The tables are covered with flowers and elegant magazines. These pages include Il Bisonte. Amid the tables, around the DJ, there’s a rush of trays carrying delectable goodies and tumblers, empty and full, then empty again.
MUSIC FROM THE CORSINI WINDOWS
The press arrived well in advance. To see the new bags up close, and ask the right questions. But also to show the city the next morning the whole crowd of brand enthusiasts who spent the evening at Palazzo Corsini.
Models and influencers, famous Florentines, diverse supporters, those committed to ethical causes (Giacomo went upstairs and down, talking occasionally with Luigi Ceccon, CEO), and so on. At the Il Bisonte party all the guests were connected in a way that went beyond working in fashion.
THERE’S ALWAYS MORE FLORENCE OUTSIDE THE WINDOWS
Everyone – between the toasts, music, handshakes and silly photos (there were wigs) – had come to see the bags. The new Fall Winter 2023 collection was presented. There are stories yet to come. The showroom is still just down the hall. And outside the windows there is always more Florence.
