New line of handmade hats

  4. New line of handmade hats

Il Bisonte is a Florentine luxury artisan brand that has been producing bags and accessories in Tuscany for five decades, combining materials typical of artisanal manufacturing and responsible design made to last over time. Faithful to this production philosophy, the new hat collection offers a selection of timeless products that reinterpret the great tradition of millinery design in an absolutely unconventional way and transform what is normally considered an accessory into a great protagonist of style.

Genuine one-of-a-kind pieces handmade with extraordinary skill, Il Bisonte hats share clean lines, neutral colors, high-quality raw materials, a vintage look, a strong personality, and a touch of magic that reveals new horizons.

The names of the hats evoke faraway places and alluring travels with unforgettable memories, sounds, and atmospheres: in the men’s leather hats, New York and Avana relive the magnificent years of Jazz and the unique spirit of Cuba from another era, while the women’s hat Austin recalls the wide brims much loved overseas. The women’s line also includes Paris (classic style) and Lisbona (which stylizes the traditional cap, making it even more cozy), both openly inspired by the most refined European tradition. That same tradition inspired the unisex styles Vienna (in fine lapin) and Florence (in soft molded lapin felt).

Tradition and innovation also meet in the choice of materials: besides soft and lustrous lapin and classic wool, there is no lack of sustainable fabrics of the latest generation such as the synthetic fiber produced from recycled plastic bottles and used to create light waterproof hats that never shrink or fade.

With this collection Il Bisonte renews its vocation toward an authentic and alternative circular economy based on environmental, social, and consumption sustainability. It does, first and foremost, by proposing products with timeless beauty and supporting the unique skills of its supply chain, all within a range of 30 km, the custodians of unique and often forgotten artisan know-how that the brand is committed to rediscovering and promoting every day.

The artisanal nature of the production also makes it possible to manufacture bespoke hats that can be produced on demand if the customer has chosen a sold-out article or if the right size is not available on the website.
