No rules about planting it, just a suggestion for its use: Erba della Madonna from A to Z, in the Orti Dipinti and Il Bisonte Journal.

We left off that it’s a miracle plant that cures skin wounds as well as something deeper inside. We left off at Dr. Balatri’s discovery which gave scientific basis to its powers. We left off that the plant can be found in Florence tabernacles.

We also said that this Erba della Madonna is grown in the Orti Dipinti. But with the help of wind and DNA, local dialects and botany, this plant has spread all over the world. And this allows us here at the Journal to offer some suggestions for its use!

ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE

Erba della Madonna is in the Crassulaceae family, meaning it is a succulent. Almost iridescent green (to pay it a compliment), shimmering from its fleshy base to the transparent tips of its leaves. The flowers – tiny and yellow or purplish – perch like a cap.
Seeds can be bought anywhere. The plant can be planted anywhere. But it’s best not to leave it exposed to the sun. It is perennial, dormant in winter and flowering in spring. Starting in July you can pick its leaves. To propagate it, simply put the stem in a pot.

PLANT ON SKIN

For now, we recommend this very simple application. Cheek to cheek. Plant on skin. Follow these steps: detach a leaf + break it off at the base + slowly peel off the film + apply the pulp to the part of the body that needs healing. Suggestions will follow.
