All the leather used in making Il Bisonte bags and accessories comes from animals raised for food use, and would otherwise have to be disposed of. All artisanal processes are environmentally sustainable, systematically optimized and favor using biodegradable materials as well as recycling production waste.
Il Bisonte began production in 1970 in Pontassieve on the banks of the Arno river, just a few minutes from Florence. Pontassieve is a unique place steeped in centuries of culture, awareness, and the know-how to make beautiful, quality, stylish products.
The new FW 2020/21 collection presented in Palazzo Corsini, Il Bisonte’s historic headquarters in Florence, is a tribute to the first fifty years of the brand’s history, its inexhaustible creativity and the excellence of its production district located just 30Km away.
